Celebrate the humble potato at Discordia Gallery and Long Prawn's latest degustation

Head to Cathedral Arcade for an evening of spud-filled debauchery. The second Degustation Discordia event is part of an ongoing series of dining events facilitated by Discordia Gallery and purveyors of experimental food-based events and workshops, Long Prawn. The team's second degustation presents fine dining in celebration of Australian artist Tully Moore's new show Spud Love.

The event responds to an observation the artist had while working in his fruit shop in regional NSW. People were purchasing large sacks of potatoes by the droves during the peak of lockdown, and, after a time of potato sales steadily declining, the nation saw potatoes gaining popularity again.

Join in for a fun night of all things tater, skins on and off, with chef Ross Magnaye (Rice Paper Scissors) at the helm and drinks by natural wine distributor High Hopes Wine Co.

Dégustation Discordia (2) will take place on Saturday, May 1 from 6pm to 10pm at Cathedral Arcade in the Nicholas Building on Swanston Street. Tickets can be purchased online for $130 plus the booking fee.
