If Poodle, Gertrude Street's swish multi-level bistro and bar isn't on your radar, it should be. This Sunday could be the perfect introduction, too. The whole venue is set to come to life with a seven-hour-long party featuring charcoal-barbecued meats, fresh seafood, disco tunes, and vino. Lots and lots of vino.
The Fitzroy bar and bistro's teaming up with Lilac Wine Bar to showcase Kyle Nicol's signature grilled bites and a cellar raid by Richard Buck. Guest chef Brother John will also be taking over Poodle Upstairs with a raw seafood bar for all your oyster-swilling needs. And the friendly folks from Foreign Fruits will be on the bar to serve up some of their fave smashable European wines.
Prefer a cheeky cocky or two? The Poodle team will be on hand with a super zesty selection of cocktails to keep you topped up throughout the day. Guest DJs on the decks include Darcy Justice, Turbo Thot, Dawn Again B2B Toni Yotzi and Mo.
