This Labour Day weekend Harbour Town is hosting a free, all-ages festival featuring a rotating fleet of food trucks and vendors selling all things sugary and sweet.
Nuts about Tella will shell out Nutella pizza and doughnuts, Dragon Beard Candy have Hong Kong waffles and Asian candy, Ostrich and the Egg will supply South African doughnuts, Dex2Rose will serve Nitro ice cream, and Gelateria on the Docks will cool things down with homemade gelato and ice cream with gluten, dairy and nut free options.
If you need to wash down the sweet with something savoury, Poncho Mexican, Bite on Wheels, Vango and Just Like Nonna’s are just a few of the trucks on offer.
Possibly the best part is that Guide Dogs Victoria are bringing puppies! As the official charity for the Sweet Land Festival, Guide Dogs Victoria are letting visitors play with the charity’s newest guide dog puppy recruits over the weekend.
DJs will be spinning tunes daily and there will be cooking demonstrations from Masterchef contestants Zoe Konikkos and Emilia Jackson. Visitors will also get the chance to check out the F1 #AusGP Fan Zone, which features a real, life-size F1 car and V8 supercar.
