Their upcoming online series, Lightbulb to Launch, is a program of fascinating in-person and live-streamed talks with superstar business leaders aimed at first-time entrepreneurs looking for the tools and education to get their ventures up and running. Across two weeks of workshops, General Assembly’s program will not only connect you with leading experts but also a community of like-minded startup business owners who can support you and your commercial endeavours as you hit your stride on your entrepreneurial journey. It’s your chance not only to discover the tricks and tips to successfully grow your business, but to also network with your peers in business who can help you take your enterprise to the next level.

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect on General Assembly’s Lightbulb to Launch series.

If you have a passion project or side hustle that you think has the potential to be more, this is the seminar you need to catch. In this workshop, Blackbird and Startmate take a deep dive into the process of turning a concept into a reality, including identifying and overcoming hurdles and understanding where your idea fits in the market, as well as learning the business acumen and lingo to supercharge your success.

More than ever before, online retail is booming, but when it comes to attracting customers, it can be hard to cut through the noise of a very crowded digital marketplace. This is something the team behind peer-to-peer social shopping app Depop know all to well. Which makes them ideally placed to share the must-know strategies to make your digital footprint as powerful as possible.
