Time Out says

Howler is putting on a Wedding Singer-themed party like no other

If you haven’t seen Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore’s film The Wedding Singer recently, we suggest remedying that soon, because Brunswick Bar Howler will soon be hosting one hell of a Wedding Singer-themed party.

For one night only, Brunswick beer haven Howler will be throwing its own ‘80s wedding reception with the help of creative collective Tastemakers. Expect plenty of wild characters, themed drinks and a set from Robbie and the Hart Breakers, a supergroup made up of some of Melbourne’s coolest musicians assumedly doing their best Billy Idol impressions.

This isn’t the first time Howler has been swept up in cinematic furore. In the past the bar has recreated the Enchantment Under the Sea dance from Back to the Future and even the Black Lodge from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.

Dress-ups are encouraged, so strap on your best baby blue tux, grow out your goofy-looking mullet and make sure you remember all the lyrics to ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?’ and ‘Love Stinks’. This is going to be fun.
