What are weekends anymore? We're not sure either, to be honest. Without happy hours to mark the end of a workweek and boozy brunches to stave off the Sunday scaries, many of us are at a loss for ways to make it feel special. That’s where we come in. Besides all the great virtual content you’ll find in our Time In hub, here’s a shortlist of activities to make the next 48 hours not feel like another Monday.

Order from these EAT List spots, newly available for takeout.

Besides the seven new spots we told you about last week, these top-notch spots just launched takeout and delivery:

Mandolin Aegean Bistro: Score all kinds of Greek dishes, wines by the bottle and Turkish pantry items for delivery or contactless curbside pickup. Opt for the latter and use code “LOVEANDFETA” for an extra 15-percent off. Tue–Fri 5–8pm; Sat, Sun noon–8pm.

KYU: Everyone’s favorite roasted cauliflower—and short ribs, and soft shell crab buns—is back. The Wynwood restaurant launched takeout this week and it’s available daily from 5 to 9pm. Get it delivered via DoorDash or call the restaurant for pickup: 786-577-0150.

Attend a drive-by bake sale.

Lee Brian Schrager hosts round two of his Putting on the Pounds (LBS) Bake Sale to benefit the SOBEWFF® & FIU Chaplin School Hospitality Industry Relief Fund. Joining him this week are Havana Club rum ambassador Gio Gutierrez, who’ll be slinging batched cocktails; Finka Table & Tap’s Eileen Andrade, selling Cuban survival kits filled with croquetas and pastelitos; and Night Owl Cookie’s Andrew Gonzalez with cookie boxes. The kits and boxes will $25 and only exact change will be accepted. So hop in your car, get your cash ready and swing by Schrager’s “House on Hardee” starting at noon for a worthy Sunday field trip. Follow Lee Schrager for additional details.

Try real-deal Laotian food.

The Lil’Laos pop-up we told you about a few weeks ago is back. While it’s not the sit-down meal they’d planned, the team is ready with a full menu of its most popular dishes—from rice bowls and pork ribs to crispy pig ears and papaya salad. The pop-up takes place at Sixty10 this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
