Cultural Connections 2014

Families are invited to celebrate Black History Month with a pair of inspired performances at the BCM. The Garifuna Drumming program spotlights Brooklyn-based artist James Lovell's percussion artistry (Feb 15 noon, 1pm), while The 13th Amendment lets kids and their parents explore slavery through personal slave narritives, poetry, spirituals and visual art (Feb 16 at 1pm).
