A Season of Lights: A Winter Solstice Celebration

In this workshop, kids learn about the uses and importance of light in festivals throughout the world. Youngsters will listen to a reading of Nancy Luenn's Celebrations of Light, which features 12 light-centric fetes, then craft paper lanterns, menoras and beeswax candles. Ages 4 and up.
