Central Park, North Meadow

The North Meadow is Central Park's largest open space, and is popular for its 12 baseball, softball and soccer fields. At the North Meadow Recreation Center (located at the southern end of the meadow), families can borrow field day kits filled with balls, bats, frisbees and jump ropes.
