If you have a little thrill-seeker on your hands who can’t get enough of amusement park rides, then the newest ride at the Forest Park Carousel might be just the ticket. A new ride, the Frog Hopper, just debuted at the Queens park July 1st, and we think kids will will want to hop on this one ASAP.

The Frog Hopper is a mini-drop tower that gently brings riders to the top before free-falling a bit over 23 feet five times over the course of two minutes. Soon enough, they’ll start feeling like little frogs leaping around the park.

Riders must be 42 inches tall to ride alone and one parent can ride with a child 36 inches to 42 inches tall for free. Kiddos under 36 inches tall are not permitted on the Frog Hopper, but they’ll giggle through other park rides for the smaller set like the Woodhaven Express, an old-school locomotive with an engine, two boxcars and a caboose, and the Forest Park Carousel.

A ride on the Frog Hopper, as well as every other ride and game at the park, costs $3.50.
