Free swim lessons for kids at YMCA! Here's the scoop.

Preparing for your best summer ever? If your kiddos haven't learned to swim just yet (or simply need to brush up on their skills), this one's for you. A handful of NYC YMCA locations in all five boroughs are offering free swim lessons to children this spring for Safety Around Water Week. You heard us: FREE! Lessons will be offered to children during the week of April 10–14, YMCA's Safety Around Water Week, and must be signed up for in person at the YMCA branch you'd like your child to take his/her lessons at (full list below) on March 27 (first come, first served!). Safety Around Water Week helps to teach children essential water safety skills.

· Coney Island – Brooklyn

· Cross Island – Queens

· Dodge – Brooklyn

· Flushing – Queens

· Greenpoint – Brooklyn

· Harlem – Manhattan

· North Brooklyn – Brooklyn

· Prospect Park – Brooklyn

· Vanderbilt – Manhattan

· West Side -- Manhattan

· Rockaway – Queens

· Staten Island Broadway
