If you thought Frozen Fever was over, you were wrong. It’s just getting started!

Frozen, a new musical based on the hit Disney film, will feature the Golden Globe and Obie winner (and two-time Tony Award nominee) Alex Timbers as director and Peter Darling (Billy Elliot, Matilda) as the choreographer. Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote songs for Disney’s Frozen (including “Let It Go”) are also writing the show’s music and lyrics under the direction of two-time Tony Award winner Stephen Oremus (Avenue Q, Wicked, The Book of Mormon).

Casting, Broadway dates and a specific theater will be announced at a future date, so stay in touch and sign up for e-mail alerts at frozenthemusical.com. Frozen will play it’s out of town tryout beginning in summer of 2017 (theater and dates also TBA), so keep an eye out for that as well.
