South Street Seaport’s free Farm Fresh Festival for Kids is on its way! This Saturday, The Seaport District will temporarily morph into a farm-like setting complete with real growers, farmers, animals and produce! Through fun activities, your kiddos will get to learn where their food comes from, how it grows and even about sustainability. Here are some of the highlights below (please RSVP if you plan to attend).

Creativity Tents (presented by Pine Street School)
Kids can participate in fun arts and crafts, plus they’ll have the opportunity to add to a LEGO-build, where they’ll help build a farm in the city.

Join Grow to Learn NYC & Farm Table for hands-on cooking demos for kids, where they’ll learn easy, healthy recipes to make at home.
