Planning your next family vacation? We know it’s not exactly New York news, but let’s face it: it’s everybody’s news. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is opening on the West Coast at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 7, 2016! It’ll include rollercoasters (one is called “Flight of the Hippogriff”), a 3-D–HD thrill ride called “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” a massive Hogwarts castle and the opportunity to visit some of the shops at Hogsmeade. Retail locations include Ollivanders Wand Shop, Owl Post (IT HAS ANIMATRONIC OWLS), Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear, Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment and Zonko’s Joke Shop.
