Summer on the Oval: Dan Zanes and Friends with the Bari Koral Band

Parents may remember Dan Zanes from his days as a member of The Del Fuegos, but kids love the Grammy-winning rocker for his nine albums of family-friendly tunes that sample musical styles as diverse as punk, reggae and soul. Backed up by his band of eclectic musicians on accordian, mandolin, violin, bass and drums, Zanes will croon to songs from the group’s latest album Little Nut Tree, as well as older fan favorites. The Bari Koral family rock band will open, kicking things off with their mellow, folsky sound. Free. All ages.
