Aspiring Audra McDonalds learn how to shine in the spotlight as trained soloists. Even though kids learn the principles of music theory, improvisation and movement in group workshops, everyone receives enough private voice instruction to belt out a solo in the program’s grand finale: a musical showcase that’s produced, written and directed by students. Ages 8 to 12.
