Your petits enfants can get their French culture and language fill at this immersion day camp by engaging in all sorts of activities that the city has to offer, with a special Francophone twist. Campers will be grouped based on their knowledge of the language and spend their days engaging in games, trips, mealtimes and more that are both fun and educational. The staff is comprised of Francophone and Francophile educators and instructors, and each week professional visitors join the team. Weekly activities include gardening, drama/creative movement, French-style Glee, rock climbing, swimming, Francophone sports, French film screenings, and many more. Occasionally campers will take trips to local parks and playgrounds, French bakeries, farms, amusement parks, museums and a variety of other places. While campers won’t leave the camp bilingual, they will certainly be close. Camps held at PS 58, Carroll Gardens, and PS 84, UWS. Camp runs June 30-Aug 29, Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm (full day); 9 am-1 pm (half day). Early and late pickups from 8 am-8:30 am and 5 pm-6 pm. Full day ages 3-11; half day ages 3-5. 1 week-9 week sessions available; 1 week session $525, half-day $425.
