A Window on Japan: Children's Screening at the Paley Center

Time Out says
Young film buffs watch a selection of Japanese cinema shorts, including the 26-minute documentary "An Unexpected Student," about a pink pelican that takes up residence at a local nursery school and befriends the teachers and students (no, really!). Shorter pieces, like a five-minute claymation work and several 30-second Japanese commercials, screen as well. Ages 5 and up.
$10, seniors and students $8, children under 14 $5
