Happy Henson Holidays

Have yourself a very merry muppet season at the Museum of the Moving Image! Every weekend in December the museum is hosting special screenings of movies and projects created by the Jim Henson team. Craig Shemin, the president of the Jim Henson Legacy, hosts a 30th anniversary screening of A Muppet Family Christmas with special behind-the-scenes home videos of the movie's production on Dec. 9 and 10. The next weekend catch The Muppet Christmas Carol (Dec. 16 and 17), followed by a 40th anniversary screening of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas on Dec 23. The month concludes with episodes of Bear in the Big Blue House, featuring a live appearance from performers Noel MacNeal and Tyler Bunch (Dec. 30). Ages 3 and up.
