'Tis the season at Playtime, the Metrograph series of family-friendly Weekend matinees for the budding cineaste in your life—you get to watch good films in a fantastic venue, while your little one is exposed to terrific movies and won't be shhh'd by your neighbors. First up is Raiders of the Lost Arc (1981), followed by the fabulous Gremlins (1984) and Little Women (1933). Christmas kicks in with Miracle on 34th Street (1947), the ghoulishly fun Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and the super-silly Muppet Christmas Carrol (1992)—which stars a very game Michael Caine. The holiday wraps up with It's a Wonderful Life (1946) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).
