Brooklyn Children’s Museum MLK Weekend Celebration

Throughout the three-day weekend the Brooklyn Children's Museum is honoring Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy with special programming. Kids can learn about the civil rights movement during Drag Queen Story Hour and during Sylvia's Story Corner. Little activists can do their best to make a difference by writing letters to local city council members, or participating in a Brooklyn Kids March (Saturday at 3pm). They can also use what they've learned about racial justice and activism to participate in art projects like an interactive handprint mural. All ages.
