Every weekday of the midwinter break, kids are invited to design and build buildings and other creations, and solve problems, with engineering mentors from the National Society of Black Engineers and the not-for-profit Destination Imagination. Build It (11:30am) has architects-in-training design and construct buildings and bridges, while Engineering Challenge! lets children make the likes of parachutes, boats, mazes and even bungee jumps (a different project is offered each day (1:30pm). Ages 4 and up.
