While many New York kids have a wide array of shoe options in their closets — crocs, sneakers, sandals and more — the children of yesteryear had to made due with less colorful options (and no velcro!). Check out this touch table to learn about house the shoes of olden times were made and how these various styles were worn by kids. Afterward check out the museum's exhibition Walk This Way: Footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection of Historic Shoes. All ages.
