The museum is still open during Memorial Day Weekend! Why not stop by? There's plenty to do on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, bring your kiddos ages 2 and up to the Imagination Playground Learn & Play Playdate (10am–5pm), where they'll play "engineer" with all kinds of block play. On Saturday, stop in for Holding History (11am–1pm, ages 3 and up), where families can touch pieces of the museum's collection, including crystals, bark, bird nests and insects, or drop by the Touch Tank (12:30pm–1pm, all ages) to meet starfish and sea urchins. Sunday offers a Sensory Room (2–4:45pm, all ages) for children of all abilities to explore through play (also open Saturday 2–4:45pm) as well as an Artist Books make-your-own sketchbook craft (2:30–4pm, ages 4 and up), among other things.
