It’s time for Nowruz—the Persian New Year and first day of Spring! Head to CMA for a day of workshops celebrating the Persian culture. Kids will learn about Nowruz traditions during an interactive storytime and play and move with the music at a Persian dance workshop. Crafty kids create their own kaleidoscopes, framed Persian miniatures and clay cat reliefs inspired by the architecture of Persepolis—the capital of the first Persian empire. Don’t miss a performance by the music group the Yekibood Children. All ages.
