Interschool Orchestras Of New York's Winter Concert

Several InterSchool Orchestras (ISO) are working together to warm up hearts this winter at the Symphony Space. Student musicians, some as young as 6 years old and the oldest 16. Up first, at 4:30pm, musicians from Trinity-Florentine Orchestra, Turtle Bay Orchestra, Morning Bay Orchesta and Carnegie Hill Orchesta Orchestra will perform classical favorites like Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and Five Ukrainians in a Bell Tower. Then, at 7pm, ensembles Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Winds and Symphony Orchestra will take on Leopold Mozart's Toy Symphony, Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 and a holiday selection that includes Chanukah FestivalCarol of the Bells and Sleigh Ride.
