Day two of 2019 has commenced, and we're pleased to inform you that along with a new year (check out the January events calendar for kids here) comes a new Girl Scout Cookie season. It might be the the time of year to embrace giving, but fortunately you won't have to share those Thin Mints with Santa (apologies Kris Kringle, you're too late).
As much as we can't resist NYC's most delicious cookie delivery services, it's time to start planning a Girl Scout order. As of today, hungry patrons nation-wide can snag boxes of their go-to treats. Head online to place your order through a troop member's Digital Cookie Platform. Before you venture out and about, type in your zip code here to see where local troops are setting up shop in your area. You also have the option to download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder on iOS or Android—a tech-savvy move that would make Cookie Monster proud.
Along with favorite flavors—Savannah Smiles, Tagalongs, Samoas and so on—a newbie is making a splash onto the list of offerings. The recently debuted Caramel Chocolate Chip is begging for a glass of milk, so we hope you order an extra box.
And fortunately, the delicious snacks are all for a good cause.
“Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, customers help fund life-changing Girl Scout experiences while building the next generation of female entrepreneurs,” GSUSA CEO Sylvia Acevedo said in a statement. “And because all Girl Scout Cookie proceeds stay local to power year-round troop projects and activities, when you buy Girl Scout Cookies you are making an investment in girls and in your local community."
Say no more! We're ready to indulge.
After your Trefoils snack, plan a fun day out embracing NYC's best winter activities for kids.
