Jacques Torres' Choco-Story New York: The Chocolate Museum and Experience will be NYC's very first chocolate museum, located right in Soho! Parents, prepare for chocolate heaven (and for your kids to be totally hyped up on sugar).

During your family's visit, you'll learn all about your favorite treat's journey from bean to bar (especially about the history of cacao and the use of chocolate in ancient civilizations), plus there are additional opportunities like a chocolatier-led chocolate bar and bon-bon–making class.

The 5,000-square-foot space offers plenty of tasting adventures (nine premium chocolate tastings that include milk, white and dark chocolate options), plus original Mayan hot chocolate that's ground by hand on the premises. We're also excited to learn about the Chocolate Museum's kids' corner, which includes a toy kitchen, play cash register and a sand pit where kids can dig for cool chocolate "artifacts." When you visit, don't miss ICC student-created chocolate sculptures of the New York City skyline!

The Chocolate Museum can be found at 350 Hudson St (Jacques Torres' Soho location). Tickets can be purchased at mrchocolate.com/museum, $10–$15.
