It's time to spruce up those dance moves and plan a family karaoke session.
Spotify has officially launched Spotify Kids in the U.S., making it that much easier for moms and dad to manage their kids' music streaming at home.
Spotify Kids—which you can access on the Spotify Premium Family tier—is geared for little listeners ages 3 and up, with a colorful interface that's instinctive and easy to use. Kids can search the library of more than 8,000 family-friendly tunes for the best Disney songs of all time, the best dance songs of all time or the best Kidz Bop songs of all time. Or they can easily explore more than 125 themed playlists including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, K-Pop, Frozen and more. There's even a Wash Your Hands playlist featuring the kiddie hygiene chart-topper "Wash Your Hands with Baby Shark!" ("Doo, doo, doo.")
Parents will appreciate the channels that make it easy to set up a soundtrack for the day's activities. Is it playtime? Then check out a channel where you have your choice of playlists featuring songs from the Beatles, to The Lion King, to old-school hip-hop, to Latino pop, to folk music, to the brainy and silly "mad scientist" and many more. Need some tutoring assistance? Check out the educational beats that'll help kids learn the alphabet, science fundamentals and more. Want to channel some positive vibes? Play Morning Energía and you'll hear everything from a catchy tune from The Secret Life of Pets 2 to the legitimately awesome "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I.
