Prominently located at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, cheery Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory resides in a 1924-built former fireboat house. Excellent small-batch ice cream is crafted from locally sourced ingredients and comes in just a handful of flavors (chocolate and peach are two standouts), which doesn't seem to bother anyone, least of all kids. Expect a slow-but-steady line on beautiful days.
