Miss Maude's, like her sister restaurant Miss Mamie's, doles out ample portions of soul food in a diner-like setting. The menu is dependable and invigorating, yet breaks little ground. A lush portion of cornmeal-crusted Louisiana catfish is accented with sides of collard greens and candied yams, while the North Carolina barbecue ribs hit the spot. Pecan waffles and fried chicken are available on weekends.
