Time Out says
Southern dishes get the hip Brooklyn treatment at Sweet Chick in Williamsburg. Go-to dishes like shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles and crawfish hushpuppies amp the comfort food factor to new levels. But don’t fill up on main courses—you’d be remiss not to spice up your order with sides such as fried okra and buttermilk biscuits.

I can't think of a better brunch spot than Sweet Chick. The wait staff are wonderful and...oh my goodness, the Chicken & Waffles ($16) are to die for. It's the best fried chicken I've ever had. My fiance ordered the Smoked Pork Hash ($15) for himself—neither of us shared. For families, there's table and bench-style seating, so there's plenty of room for everyone.
