Why should big kids have all the fun? Toddlers in the Summer Slugger program can tae a break from the heat at the Baseball Center's 15,000-square-foot indoor facility—on of the city's best and biggest. Over their nine weeks in the program, little ones learn the basic of the game, as well as hand-eye coordination, flexibility, focus and—if all goes well—an earl love for baseball. Can't make the summerlong commitment? The center offers everything from private lessons to indoor-batting-cage rentals and even birthday parties. Camps run Tuesdays or Thursdays, 10:30am–11:15am or 1:30–2:15pm. Nine-week session $395. Ages 2–3.
