Extra! Extra! Calling All Newsies!

First there was the DiMenna Children's Museum's portrayal of Newsies, child laborers who sold newspapers on city streets, in its permanent exhibit. Then came Newsies the musical, the Disney production about the Newsboy Strike of 1899 that's become the go-to play on Broadway for families. Now the twain shall meet, as Disney teaching artists teach little museumgoers choreography and music from the show at the New-York Historical Society. Ages 3 and up.
