Everyday objects are transformed into vivid characters at "Folktales of Africa and Asia"—it feels like magic when a pair of eggbeaters and cloth napkins become Japanese girls wearing kimonos. "Folktales of Africa and Asia" was created by La MaMa artist Jane Catherine Shaw, who also curates the La MaMa Puppet Slam. Ages 6 and up.
