The story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff gets a new twist as it takes on the issue of climate change. Goats have trashed their world and it’s up to a young goat named Gruf to make the others realize the importance of turning their toxic habits around. With the elder goats set on drilling for fuel through the last bit of green land left, it’s a story that’s very relevant and eye-opening. Children will learn about earth preservation through puppetry, comedy, laser effects, and songs. Ages 4 and up.

I think it is very rare for a show like this to make it to the stage. The show works on emotional, purpose-driven, and comedic levels. And the show is equally enjoyable by both kids and grown-ups alike. This is clearly an important moment in our nations history. Our kids have questions. We have questions. This show opens up really beautiful, warm ways to talk about these issues and our place in the world.
Also - the music is earworm-briliant and the puppets are so damn cute.
I am a fan of this theater group and I can't wait to see what they do next.
This gem of a show is like the best moments from the Muppets canon: hilarious to adults and hilarious to kids at the same time. Literally the whole show is operating on at least two levels (and sometimes more). I also found it surprisingly moving at times. This is the perfect show for the age of Trump - when I wasn't laughing or crying, I was impressed by their ability to directly address political issues in ways that were clear to kids and refreshing for adults.
