The Firework Maker's Daughter

In this enchanting opera based on the novel by Philip Pullman, Lila embarks on a quest to become a firework maker, dealing with pirates, ghosts and fire-fiends along the way. To add to the whimsical feel, puppets accompany the cast of five singers, and a touch of world folklore is evident in David Bruce's score and Glyn Maxwell's witty libretto. Ages 8 and up.
