2010 Walkathon and Family Day Fair

Hosted by the Chinese-American Planning Council, the walkathon, which benefits youth services programs, kicks off with a traditional lion dance, then wends its way over the Brooklyn Bridge to rally in Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza before returning to Chinatown. Meanwhile, the Family Day Fair brings neighborhood families together with raffles, giveaways, games, health check-ups, a community education fair and a special performance by Asian-American artist Taiyo Na. All ages.
