As adults, we dread getting caught in the rain in NYC. We pull out the umbrellas, cower under bodega awnings and scramble for vacant cabs. But maybe it's time we start looking at the drizzle from a child's point of view. Kids understand that rain can be a beautiful thing and, as these photos prove, this city looks pretty stunning in torrential downpour. Next time you feel a drop, take a look around before booking it indoors for some rainy day activities or popping in one of the 50 best kids' movies. What's better than stomping through a puddle in your galoshes, anyway?
