2nd Annual Green City Challenge and Family Expo

Browse through eco-friendly kid’s retailers that set up shop at the Union Square Greenmarket while learning how to garden, recycle and harvest rainwater at this annual expo of urban environmental awareness and stewardship. In addition to the traditional children's activities and organic food vendors, this year 10 teams of two will participate in the "Green City Challenge Race," where competitors will bike around Lower Manhattan working to complete challenges at secret green businesses.
