Arts in the Gardens

BAM teams up with New York Restoration Project to present this free music and movie series, taking place in four community gardens in Bed-Stuy. Families can boogie along with the funky jazz fusion of Soul Understated (July 23, Bedford Stuyvesant Community Garden, 95 Malcom X Blvd) and sway to the soul music of Jhevere (Aug 6, Green Acres Community Garden, 322 Greene Ave), plus catch classic flicks like Young Man With a Horn (Aug 17, Target Community Garden, 931 Bedford Ave) and Buck and the Preacher (Aug 24, Jane Bailey Memorial Garden, 327 Greene Ave).
