Bastille Day at Brookfield Place

Head downtown to fete France's Independence Day with music, games and more family festivities at Brookfield Place. The onsite French marketplace that just opened this year, Le District, will be offering several discounts on Parisian eats including a roving ice-cream cart. Parents can join a "Tour de France" spin class with Equinox and families can spend the afternoon enjoying live music, Parkour demos and lessons and even get their portrait done by a caricaturist. Don't forget to visit the "Champs Élysées" (shopping on the second floor) for storytelling from Posman Books, French lessons by Bilingual Birdies a one-act performance of Sleeping Beauty from the New York Theater Ballet.
