Bilingual Story Time

New York non-profit organization Literacy Inc. (LINC), founded by Mimi Lieber, regularly hosts story hours in unconventional locations around the city to promote reading among children. At this special bilingual event, a local mom and her teenage daughter will read two batty books: Bats by Gail Gibbons (in English) and Stellaluna by Janell Cannon (in Spanish). After the readings, kids can participate in fun reading comprehension activities. Ages 3–12.
