Time Out says

Honor Black History Month with an exciting celebration! Early in the day, guests can attend a panel discussion on the history of swing dance and the lindy hop in Harlem and watch a swing dance performance from the Harlem Swing Dance Society. Then later on, kids can try out swing dancing in a workshop. After learning some moves, show your skills at a swing dance party! Also, performer and storyteller Daniel Carlton will introduce families to historical black figures like Frederick Douglass in an engaging performance. The Freedom Wall—an interactive mural featuring photos and quotes by historical black figures—will be on display for families to check out throughout the day. All ages.
