Time Out says

Downtown Brooklyn transforms into a bibliophile's paradise during the Brooklyn Book Festival. On Children's Day (Sept 15 from 10am–4pm), little readers can enjoy interacting with their favorite authors, including Kate Schatz, Miriam Klein Stahl, Vashti Harrison and many others. Stories will come to life at the Picture Book Stage and the beloved Story Pirates will perform in the NYU Tandon School Auditorium. This year marks the first New York Times for Kids live event. Children’s books editor Maria Russo will be on hand for "Book Review 101," digital crossword editor Joel Fagliano will be ready to test visitors' crossword abilities and kid-approved Social Q’s from the Style Section will be available. Readers of all ages are invited to the market place (Sept 16 from 10am–6pm) to find new books to add to their shelves. Check out a complete lineup hereAll ages.
