Chew-Choo Dining Car

In conjunction with the seasonal exhibit "Holiday Express: Toys and Trains from the Jerni Collection," the New-York Historical Society is hosting a series of tea time events that kids and adults alike will enjoy. On three afternoons in December, be transported to the past at the elegant Caffe Storico, which will be decked out in whimsical train decor. Kids can don their own train conductor caps and feast on Choo-Choo Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Salt Mine Chocolate-Caramel Tartlets and other treats (special coloring placemats will keep them busy once they're finished). Afterwards, check out the "Holiday Express" exhibit and hear classic train stories.
