The Queens Botanical Garden lights up for the holidays with a fun-filled day of festive activities for the whole family. Kids can learn how to make lanterns and ornaments or take pictures with jolly Old Saint Nick. Acapella group The Rough Dozen will serenade the crowd before everyone lines up at 5pm for a walk to the Cherry Circle near Main Street to sing carols with Santa handcrafted lanterns in hand. A lighting of the 50-foot tree surrounded by over 5,000 lights is a luminous kick off to the holiday season. All ages.
