City kids can get a taste of country life at Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s brand-new Discovery Garden. Families can roam the grassy paths and raised boardwalks or scale split logs and boulders like Tarzan to see native plants such as butterfly milkweed, and lady-slipper orchids up close. Before you know it, the kids will be begging to start their own little gardens! Ages 1 to 12.
