The National Museum of Mathematics hosts families for a variety of brainy but fun activities. In April, Two Sigma presents “Ready, SET, go!” with The Joy of SET authors Liz McMahon, Gary Gordon, Hannah Gordon, and Rebecca Gordon. The group will teach attendees how to play the card game SET while explaining the role math plays in the family game (April 14, 6:30pm, Ages 8 and older). In May, Two Sigma returns with “Boxes of Troxes” in which inventor Jonathan Bobrow gives children a sneak peek at his new construction toy, Troxes, and a change to build out forms commonly found in nature (May 5, 6:30pm-8pm, All ages).
