Fuel Free Food: Salsa, Pesto and Ice Cream

Directly following the farm's volunteer hours, families can get in on a workhop in which they'll build take-home solar ovens, use a bike blender, a handheld chopper and other tools to whip up ice cream, salted chive butter, spicy salsa, bean dip and pesto with sage, kale and basil. Ages 5 and up.
